SACRE BLEU ! DID THE CONCEPT OF THE SACRED JUST COME OUT OF THE BLUE?

 SACRE BLEU !
DID THE CONCEPT OF THE SACRED JUST COME OUT OF THE BLUE?
Is nothing SACRED?    Of course no word is,  not just by itself.  Meanings are not assigned to words, as thought by the anthro-centric High Priests of Chaos.  Meanings are merely colored by usage, but their authentic, original hue is from Heaven.
Or course this cannot be seen with the post-Babel-babble of words that have not yet been traced back to Edenic.

Take the word "sacred."   It has to be returned to its family, of Edenic parents and global cousins, before one may see any holiness in that word.  Then, holiness can be seen in every spoken word, and in every speaker.

Nothing is not sacred.

The new entry:

 -------------------------------------------------
SAC(RED)      ZahKH         Zayin-Khaf
ZUHKH_______זך______[Z-KH à  SC]
ROOTS: SACRED  has the Indo-European "root" of sak (to sanctify).  Even if the pre-holy Romans came up with Latin sacer, holy, sacred, we are once again not given a clue as to how the word developed.  A nasalization sullied the ethereal already with Latin sancti (holy).

זך ZaKH  means pure and clear, as the consecrating oil of Exodus  27:20;    זכה ZaKaH (pure of heart, Psalms 73:13) and  צח  TSahK[H]  is dazzlingly clear and bright (Songs 5:10) .

"Sacred Heart" infers the innocent and purity of זכה ZaKaH, not some supernatural quality.

French sacre bleu  (sacred blue) infers a blue that is clear, not holy.

Did the concept of a heavenly hue come from out of the blue, or was it formalized in the sky-blue of Exodus 24:4 and 28:37?

BRANCHES:     CONSECRATE, EXECRATE, SACERDOTAL, SACROSANCT, SANCTIFY, SANCTITY, SANCTUM and  SAINT are among the AHD's cognates  of SACRED.

SK words could link up to IE "root" sek (to cut), as holy things are cut off or sectioned off from the profane. S-K cutting words are at "SAXON."
The SCT of the nasalized SANCTITY can resemble the Koof-Dalet root. of Edenic  SA(N)CTITY, קדושה QiDOOSHaH.

Something  קדוש  QaDOASH (as the Sabbath is in Exodus 20:8) is understood to be  CUT off from the mundane, separated, kept apart  and special.  See "HAREM" for this sense development.   But this link to words of SANCTIFICATION requires an M312 metathesis and a dental shift, besides ignoring the convincing S-K root.

S-K "holy" word are found in Indo-European from Welsh sanctaidd to Spanish santa (where once again the nasalization marred the original source of holiness).

Maybe Chinese shèng. Malay suci and Thai   ศักดิ์สิทธิ์   sạkdi̒s̄ithhi̒  retain some of the original celestial purity. Slightly disguised  Arabic  forms of  קדוש QaDOASH include  Azerbaijani  qəddəs and Turkish kutsal.

-----------------------------------
If your dictionary does not tell you WHY a word means what it does, It is not a book, but merely a manual.  It is a phrase  book that will help you order coffee. That would make you a tourist in your native land.
At this season of sacred liberation, feel free enough to ask WHY?
