 YOU HAVE TO HAVE GUTS TO PLAY GUITAR.

Especially in the old days. That is why GUITAR is from Old English guttas,  meaning intestines.

 CATGUT is the dried intestines or GUTS of animals that were used for chords in musical instruments like GUITARS. 

If the liars cite Greek kithara (lyre, lute) as the ultimate source of GUITAR,

 know that this is another gutless, Semitic-less etymology. 

 גיד GeeYD is a chord, artery, tendon or "sinew."

Now, some veteran Edenics readers may ask, what does a stringy intestine of a throat letter-tooth letter sound (G, K/D,T)  have to do with words like
 1) GOOD or  2) GOAT that Edenics explained as words of being 1) "toGeTHer" and  2) GaTHered in herds ?

 It is the  גיד  GeeYD, the sinew, which binds together muscles to bones. 

As גדוד GiDOOD is a troop, אגד EGeD is a union, אגודה AGOODaH is a bunch, עדר GHeDeR is a herd and אחד  EK]ahD is one.
