1) Dutch Lucht means, air and smell.
luchtig, airy recalls "windy", a clue that L-CH is a L-from-R shift from Edenic רוח ROOaK[H] (wind, spirit).
ריח RaYahK[H] is smell,
odor … scents travel in the wind.
