PARTying At the SePARATION Wall

Give Peace a Chance.  Come Together.  Yah, Yah, Yah.
But antagonists have to be separated.

The entry:

(SE)PARATE       PaRahD        Pey-Resh-Dalet

Pah-RUDD_______פרד_______[PRD àPRT]

ROOTS: PART is lumped with DEPART, and is said to come from Latin pars and the Indo-European “root” pera (to grant, allot).  Late Latin departire, to divide, is considered a close cognate of Latin PARTICULAR is particula. The two ways of being APART, are similar, but Edenic lets the two themes PART company with slightly different spellings.

The nations are divided or PART company with the Pey-Resh-dalet,  פרד PaRahD, of Genesis 10:5.  פ-ר-ד Peh-Resh-Dalet words of DEPARTURE and PARTING company. DEPARTING and being APART are similar, and only divided in Edenic by a dental shift.

At “PART” are closely related sounds and senses. פרט  P'RahDT is a PARTICULAR or detail; פרט PaRaiDT is to specify or be PARTICULAR;  פרטי  P’RahDTeeY means private, single or SEPARATE.  פרט PeReDT in Leviticus 19:10 infers "individual" neglected grapes (as translated by Aryeh Kaplan).

A metathesis (with S-D) brings synonyms together, as פטר PaDTaR is to send off, dismiss, set free (I Samuel 19:10), and   פטר PeDTeR is the womb-breaking firstborn of Exodus 13:1 are allied in music and meaning with  פרד PaRahD, which is about departing and being apart (Genesis 13:14).

More Pey + liquid differentiation at the פ-ל of “PLEA.” Crumbly PARTICLES at "FRIABLE."

BRANCHES:  Much like its close relative  פ-ר-ט Peh-Resh-Tet, פרדה   P'ReeYDaH is a PARTICLE.    פרוד PaROOD is SEPARATE or APART; and פרוד PaROOD is SEPARATION or DEPARTING.   פרד PaRahD refers to wings that are SPREAD APART.  פרודת PiRooDoaT are scattered seeds in Joel 1:17.  The IE “root” separates PART from APART and DEPART; the only like-sounding cognates listed are BIPARTITE, COMPARTMENT, and IMPART.

Any PARTIAL, PARTISAN movement infers being set apart from another PARTY where individuals are PARTNERS in a group effort. These three built-in opposite of  PARTISAN, פרט PRT,  and   פרד PRD  bilabial-liquid-dental break-offs is the reverse:  dental-liquid-bilabial צרף   (to attach. join – see “PARTNER."

Pey-Resh-Dalet, פרד   PeReD (mule – II Samuel:13:29) is related to PaROOD, separate or APART.  This beast is mateless, and APART, is sterile, and is a Biblically forbidden mix between a horse and donkey.  פרד PeReD is like the Arabic term for an odd number fard, since the sterile mule is indivisible.  Arabic farad means single. The PRD mule named the German horse: Pferd.

The encroachment of enemy camps means war, military engagement. That is why קרב Q’RaBH (battle) is akin to קרב   QaReBH (getting close).  Peace is about the opposite, the SEPARATION of antagonists. This is why Germanic “peace” words  are from פרד  PaReD (to separate). They are German Frieden, Danish , Swedish and Norwegian fred, and Dutch vrede. Some peaceniks want to handcuff lions to lambs in our days.

Indonesian is not Germanic, but perdamaian (peace) may reflect similar thinking, and use of the same  Edenic etymon. Japanese pittari (exactly) should be an M132 metathesis of  פרט PRaDT and particularly בפרט B’PHRaDT (particularly).  Korean porida (cast away, forsake) echos our פרד   PaRahD.

Webster’s online dictionary lists over 20 PRT words like PARTICULARIZE.

As they define foreign cognates, more English cognates appear. Czech podrobnost means PARTICULARITY, and the PDR echoes Pey-Resh-Tet (M132 metathesis).   Czech prosty means “private,” like   פרטי PRaDTeeY above. In both Frisian and Rumanian apart means SEPARATE.
