AIR ROOah[K]H Resh-Vav-Het ROO-ahkh רוח [R+vowels reverses à vowels + R] ROOTS: Both English AIR and Post Biblical Hebrewאויר AVeeYR (air) are said to come from Greek aer (air, mist). The Greek didn’t come from thin air. The definitions of AIR all fit Edenic Resh-Hey words: 1. gases, atmosphere – ריחRaYah[K]H (scent); 2. sky, space above earth –רוח ROOa[K]H (quarter of heaven) and רוח ReVa[K]H (space); 3. wind, breeze -- רוח ROOA[K]H (wind, air); 4. general appearance, airs רוח ROOa[K]H (mood); 5. to publicize רוח RaVa[K]H (to spread abroad). רוח ROOa[K]H means wind or "spirit" (Genesis 1:2) – as in an AIR of defiance. AURA in Greek can also mean AIR or breeze, and the shining AURA is from אור OAR (light – Genesis 1:4, see “ORIOLE”). Both רחב Ra[K]HaBH (broad expance -- Job 36:16,18) and its letter-scrambled counterpart רוח ReVa[K]H (space, interval – Genesis 32:17) are about open space or air. A page designer will give text more AIR, empty space around it, for easier reading. More ר-ח Resh-Het wind and air at “REEK.” BRANCHES: האביר H’E[V]eeYR is to soar; אברAi[V]eR means wing. AERIAL, AERO-, AIR, AORTA, ARIA, ARTERY, AURA and MALARIA are attributed to an IE “root” wer (to raise, lift, hold suspended). Arabic ruh means wind or air; riais is a lung. Avestan ahura means spirit. Among Austronesian languages, forms of רוח ROOah[K]H or RooWaK[H], wind, include Maanyayan’s (Borneo) riwut and Merina’s (Madagascar) rivotra. (Only in Austronesian, Edenic gutturals become Ts; every language family has its own peculiar shifts.) רוח ROOah[K]H, wind, is reversed in Taino (Cuba, etc.) to hurra, the first element of HURRICANE. The Japanese word for “open space,” hiroba, is a M213 of רחב Ra[K]HaBH (broad expance) or an M231 of רוח RaVa[K]H (to spread abroad). AIRS, attitudes, also fits רוח ROOah[K]H as"spirit." It is hard to get a definition of רוח ROOah[K]H from dictionaries (breath, wind, mood…) , so let us examine an important Biblical context, the “Dry Bones” vision in Ezekiel 37. In what could well describe the resurrection of the Jewish people after the heaps of corpses of the European death camps, we have specific, material objects such as bones, skin, sinews, and then רוח ROOah[K]H . It is important that the infrastructure of the resurrected Jewish State (Israel) is fully intact, but they lack רוח ROOah[K]H in verse 6. Israelis today don’t lack “breath,” but the breadth of Jewish spirit. But a minority with רוחניות spirituality is growing fast, and one can see a weakening of the current self-hatred, where rotting corpses will stand erect, without shame for a Jewish state, cuture and language. |
